A Christmas Day walk in Stowe, VT. Christmas this year dawned bright, sunny, and not exceptionally cold – the perfect conditions for a midday walk. Unfortunately, even up in the mountains, there was not enough snow on the ground to justify the breaking out of the snowshoes. I’ll have to give it a few more weeks, although, I did see some snowshoeing going on at the Trapp Family Lodge. I enjoyed watching them rambling along from the windows of the new Trapp Brewery complex. A good way to pass a Christmas (or any) afternoon – a brisk walk through the snow followed by a pint of craft brew. Cheers!
