- Cotton Cord
- U.S. size 7 (1.65 mm) Crochet Hook
Instructions:
- Over a single cord foundation: Sc 40.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Return over the cord: Sc 24, hooking into both horizontal loops of each St.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Over the cord foundation and into the previous Row: Sc 16.
- Over the cord foundation and free of the previous Row: Sc 16.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Return over the cord: Sc 26, hooking into both horizontal loops of each St.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Over the cord and into the previous Row: Sc 10.
- Over the cord and free of the previous Row: Sc 8.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Return over the cord: Sc 18, hooking into both horizontal loops of each St.
- Sc 1, over the cord, into the base loop of the 2nd leaf segment.
- Sc 6, over the cord, into the next 6 open St of the 2nd leaf segment.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Over the cord and into the previous Row: Sc 10.
- Over the cord and free of the previous Row: Sc 8.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Return over the cord: Sc 18, hooking into both horizontal loops of each St.
- Sc 1, over the cord, into the base loop of the 1st leaf segment.
- Sc 14, over the cord, into the remaining St of the stem – until you return to the first St.
- Fasten ends off.
