Materials:
- Metal Ring (6 mm)
- Yarn (Lace (0) weight)
- Cotton Cord
- U.S. size 7 (1.65 mm) Crochet Hook
Instructions:
- Over a single cord: Sc 17 for the first leaf segment.
- Fold leaf segment over and anchor into the base with a Sl St.
- Over the foundation cord: Sc 17 for the second leaf segment.
- Once again, fold it over and anchor it back into the base with a Sl St.
- Make the final leaf segment with an additional Sc 17 over the cord.
- Sl St into the base.
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Run your cord back up the side of your last leaf segment: Sc 1 in each St, leaving the 3 St at the end of the segment free.
- Sk the first 3 St on the next (middle) leaf segment.
- Crochet over the cord up the sides and top of the middle leaf segment: Sc 1 in each St, leaving the 3 St at the end of the segment free.
- Sk the first 3 St on the last leaf.
- Crochet over the cord up the sides and top of the last leaf segment: Sc 1 in each St until you once again reach the base of the leaf.
- Crochet the stem:
- Crochet over the cord foundation: Sc 12
- Ch 1 to turn.
- Work your way back up the stem: Sc 1 in each St. Hooking the hook though the two horizontal links in each St.
- Sl St the stem into the base.
- Fasten off the ends.
- Make central ring: Sc around ring. Fasten off the Round with a Sl St.
- Attach the ring to the rest of the leaf.
